グランドハープ弾き歌いの第一人者、速海ちひろと、個性溢れるフルート・リコーダーの名手、森本英希。この２人の演奏には、聴衆の心に響く何かがある。国内外の国際音楽コンクールで上位入賞を重ね、彼らにしかない世界を紡ぎだす唯一無二のデュオとして、これまでに国内外の音楽祭や演奏会に多数出演。その演奏が各地で感動をもたらしている。彼らのために書かれた編・作曲作品も多く、その世界は年ごとに豊かさを増し、京都を拠点に世界へと、今後の活躍が大いに期待されている。

The performances of this duo, who are often described as ‘a heartful, tender and perfect pair’, bring with them elements that resonate with the audience like never before. The delicate and elegant harp, the gentle flute and a crystal-clear soprano voice; three elements combined in masterful harmony for music that makes its presence felt and goes straight to the heart of all who hear it, with wonderful warmth and charm.

Their unique repertoire covers a range across the board; right from the Middle Ages to the present and reflecting their wide musical experience from occidental to the traditional Japanese music. Specially tailored for this duo, a wealth of written arrangements and compositions have emerged.

As if by destiny, it was in Kyoto that these two unique talents met to form a now inimitable duo. Winning the highest prize for an ensemble performance at the Gifu International Music Competition in 2018 and at the Osaka International Music Competition in 2020, and the 3rd prize at the Concours International Leopold Bellan in 2020, and with interest in their work soaring, the duo is set to emerge in a growing number key important musical scenes, both within and outside Japan to embrace the spotlight and is expected to break new ground in the classical music world.
